MICRODOSING and it's benefits
What is microdosing?
How do I microdose?
Microdosing Psilosybe sclerotium (truffles) is typically 10 times less strong than what is needed for a full psychedelic experience. While 10 grams will have you experience a trip, just a single 1 gram dose is used for a microdose. This one gram does not produce a typical psychedelic effect, and thus rather than hindering daily functioning, it can stimulate a multitude of positive benefits such as increased focus and creativity. This one gram is best eaten on an empty stomach, we suggest to incorporate it in your morning routine by taking it after waking up and waiting 30 minutes before having breakfast.

There are multiple possible microdosing routines, but we generally recommend the format designed by Dr. Fadiman. This routine is often abbreviated to '1 day on, two days off'. This means after every microdose you take, you wait 2 days until taking the next microdose. This looks as follows:

Understanding Microdosing
The term microdosing has become an increasingly popular trend - often referred to as the psychedelic renaissance. With this growing wave of interest also comes a renewed interest in scientific research, with many highly regarded universities and organizations such as Harvard Medical School, John Hopkins University and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the U.S delving into research on the seemingly limitless potential of psilocybin.
Let’s break down this complex topic together in this article.
The term Microdosing
The first thing to understand is how microdosing got its name.
The term refers to one part of a dose, more specifically (1/10) of a dose, a dose of what you might wonder? We are talking about a dose of Magic Truffles that when eating a 10+ gram dose will induce a psychedelic trip: a temporary state of altered consciousness in which our ego dissolves into a more holistic perception of reality and where insightful thoughts emerge disrupting the usual brain patterns resulting in a unique form of cognitive enhancement.
Look familiar? this widely used image provides a visualization of connectivity between brain regions on and off psilocybin:
On the left you can see the state of brain connections in a brain that is not under the effect of psilocybin, while on the right you can see how the brains internal communication gets enriched by the influx of new connections being created because of the intake of psilocybin.

What is the substance contained in truffles?
Magic Truffles are a naturally occurring psychoactive fungus which contains psilocybin, which gradually increases in concentration as the truffle goes through its life cycle.
When we consume psilocybin it needs to be broken down in our organism to be turned into Psilocin so that our brain can utilize it.
What is psilocybin?
Psilocybin is a classified as a serotonin antagonist- in other words, it helps the brain to store more serotonin and for longer than normal, the effect of this increase in serotonin results in among other things, a boosted mood, neural anti-inflammation, and enhanced cognitive abilities.
So far we have found out what a microdose is and how much to take, but what are the day to day benefits?
Holistic Wellness; the benefits

Mind

Nerves

Addiction
Microdosing can help with phasing out addictions, such as smoking. It makes you have a different mental state thanks to which you feel less drawn towards that which you are addicted to.
Sleep
Microdosing is known to promote restorative and improved sleep, leading to a healthy night's rest. (For sleeping we also recommend the use of Hemp extracts)

Creativity

Social
Microdosing can make it so you feel more inclined to engage with other people. You are opener and easier to talk to. You might also feel more connected with the people around you.
